The White Settlement Fire responded to a residential structure fire with the report of a person possibly being trapped, which fortunately turned out to be false. The first unit on was C4 Augie, who reported heavy smoke showing. Pump 3 with its crew, Fire Fighter Trevor Gage, Fire Fighter Derek Staine, with Cpt. Philip Alley were quick to lay a line and make entrance to where the smoke first appeared to be coming from. Chris Harrell was Engineer.

The structure turned out to be an attachement on the back the main house with a bedroom and a workshop. The work shop is where the fire was. Once the door was opened to access the fire it began to breathe and flamed up, but was quickly knocked down. The fire was declared to be under control 15 minutes after arrival.

Other units responding were Pump 1, Quint 1 and a commander and a pump unit with crew from Lockheed Martin.

The structure received heavy flame, smoke and water damage. No one was injured. The cause is under investigation.
