The owner of this truck was underneath performing maintenance when this fire brook out. The hood was shut and was determined to stay that way for arriving fire fighters. This was the first vehicle fire I photographed. Immediately after arriving the left front tire blew and initiated me into the ranks of, “Oh my God, what was that!”  I have since learned to exercise caution when approaching fire incidents. Once the hood was opened the fire was extinguished in short order.
