The White Settlement Fire Department responded to a reported residential structure fire in the 9100 of Rowland in the city.  Pump 3, with Bn Chief Tim Ellis, Firemen Brian Thompson, and Robert Burlison, with Engineer Dennis Boden were first on scene. It was reported that fire was showing from this one story brick residence.

The firemen that were exiting  the home and entering rehab stated this was a very hot fire. Other units which responded were, Pump 2, Quint 1, Utility 1, Rescue 8 and mutual aid assistance from Westworth Village. There were many on lookers. PD was busy with crowd control.

The home appears to be a total loss from flame, heat smoke and water damage. Five occupants were displaced as Red Cross was notified. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
