The White settlement Fire Department was summoned to a commercial structure fire in the 400 block of Ralph st. in the city. Units had just been released from an auto accident and were rolling to the scene the instant the call  came in. The first unit on reported smoke showing. and immediately began pulling hose for an interior attack. 

The fire was hot and Command requested man power assistance from neighboring fire departments. Units from West Worth Village and Lockheed Martin were quick to respond with available units.

The fire was brought under control after about 15 minutes, though it was stubborn as it crawled the attic and the ceiling had to be pulled in several places. The laundry room was damaged extensively, as well as the adjacent office. The cause is under investigation.
