At Approximately 2:15 on the last day of November, White Settlement Fire Department received notice of a structure fire at 117 West Place. The first units were on within a few minutes. An out building at this address was fully involved showing heavy flame and smoke. Fireman Dennis Boden and Lt. Tim Ellis quickly attacked and brought this fire under control in about 5 minutes. Chris Harrell was the engineer on Pump 3. FD responded with Pump 3, Pump 1 and Quint 1. Approximately 12 personnel made the scene. High winds caused this fire to spread to adjoining homes and out buildings causing damage due to exposure. The fire also burned electric and utility lines causing loss of service to several homes. Firemen overhauled the scene for about an hour. No one was injured. The origin of the fire is suspicious.
