The driver of this automobile was pulling out of a parking lot when he was hit broad side by a pickup hauling a trailer filled with scrap metal. The White Settlement Fire Department quickly responded to the scene of this MVA and immediately put the jaws of life into use. An elderly gentleman was extricated within a few minutes after their arrival  and placed in a Med-Star unit for transport to a local hospital.
