January 18, 2003 The White Settlement Fire Fighters Association hosted its annual Christmas party. The association, under the direction of social co-coordinator, Joe Milam provided over 60 people  an outstanding evening of dining and entertainment. All the firemen arrived with their loved ones and were treated to  fine Texas Bar-B-Que catered by Bills. Afterwards everyone spent the remainder of the evening enjoying a Vegas Image party. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves greatly.

Association President Mike Cochrane took advantage of the occasion to present  retiree Rusty Hearne with a silver plated axe, mounted along with a plaque denoting Rusty's service with the department. Congratulations and good luck in your retirement Rusty!
